Dean Smith sends message to Norwich City man as he's set to start the Watford clash

Tim Krul has been ruled out of the Norwich City squad due to a shoulder injury and won't be available for the Watford clash. Instead, it's going to be a big night for Angus Gunn as the goalkeeper is set to start the match. Gunn has had horrible results in his last 3 Premier League outings after conceding 17 goals in those. However, Dean Smith is confident that the 25-year-old is now stronger and more experienced.
“It’s tough for goalkeepers when they are not protected as much as they can and when they feel they have made a mistake for a couple of goals as well," Smith said.   “It can be a lonely place being in goal when you haven’t got the protection you need.   “We were certainly lacking numbers when Angus came into the team against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.   “The Southampton game (losing 9-0 to Leicester City) is long gone and hopefully out of his mindset now.   “He's at a different club and we have got players who are back now, a more experienced team in front of him, and he will be a lot better protected than he was in the last two games.”
Norwich City are set to face Watford in their next PL fixture tonight, on January 21st.
