David Silva is expected to become a member of David Beckham’s Inter Miami in Major League Soccer next summer.
Manchester City attacking midfielder signed another year-long deal with his current team, however, he would like to continue his career in the States.
Beckham is a part-owner of Inter Miami and considers to bring the Spanish midfielder to increase the interest from Florida’s Hispanic community.
The MLS season starts in March, so Silva will miss the first three months of the campaign.
Inter Miami reportedly approached other big names of European football, including Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Now the team has just three members: midfielders Matias Pellegrini and Christian Makoun, and a forward Julian Carranza.
David Silva came to Manchester City nine years ago from Valencia and since has been one of the key performers for his team, winning two FA Cups and four League Cups.
