David Ornstein has provided an update on Hugo Lloris' future at Tottenham amid contract as well as possible exit talks.
The Athletic journalist wrote that according to Charlie Eccleshare, there is a "quiet confidence" that the goalkeeper will sign a new deal with Spurs.
The discussions that have been ongoing in the last couple of months are set to lead to expected results over the coming weeks, with the keeper's current deal expiring in the summer of 2022.
Both the club and the players' representatives are understood to accept the contract extension, though nothing has been agreed at the moment.
Lloris has been linked with the move to Roma, however, he would decide on staying at the North London club as he still remains the number one goalkeeper of the team ahead of Pierluigi Gollini.
