David Ornstein has provided an update on Bruno Fernandes' new contract situation at Manchester United. United felt Fernandes deserved an upgrade on his salary and offered a new deal in late autumn, which was turned down by the player and his representative. The 27-year-old is "looking for parity with the squad’s leading salaries given his importance to the team".
