David Ornstein claims "frustrated" player desperate to leave Arsenal this summer

Hector Bellerin is desperate to leave Arsenal this summer, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.  The 26-year-old has two years left on his contract, however, he believes it's time to leave Arsenal. He is understood to be growing extremely frustrated as the club show reluctance to sanction his exit. The Spanish professional has been heavily linked with the move away from Emirates Stadium, with Inter Milan being interested in the defender's services. However, the Gunners and the Serie A side failed to reach an agreement over a possible deal. As the North London club is keen to strengthen the defence, according to Ornstein, one option could be a swap deal involving Barcelona’s 22-year-old Emerson Royal, though nothing is advanced at this stage. Bellerin has joined Arsenal back in 2011 since then making 239 appearances for the club. In early 2019, a serious knee ligament injury impacted on the player's progress, while now he is competing with Calum Chambers, Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles for his place in Mikel Arteta's first-team squad.
