David Moyes speaks on his relationship with Ed Woodward

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has appreciated Ed Woodward's role at Old Trafford, speaking on his relationship with the club's executive vice-chairman. The two had the chance to work with each other when Moyes replaced the Red Devil's former coach Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 and  Woodward took his position after the retirement of CEO David Gill. However, the Scotsman didn't have much time to manage the squad, being sacked just at the first season of his job. Meanwhile, Woodward still remains at United, in spite of the criticism and the latest terrible season. Speaking about his working time with Woodward, Moyes told talkSPORT: "I found him fine to work with, I’ve got to say. He was really new to the job. One of the big losses I found was probably David Gill leaving Manchester United, because he was the one who worked with Sir Alex, and with both Sir Alex and David Gill going it was new for myself and Ed Woodward going in.”
