David Haye gives prediction on Whyte/Chisora and makes nervous admission

Dillian Whyte will not be able to compete with Dereck Chisora for 12 rounds, according to David Haye. “Dillian looks in the form of his life, I saw him at his public workout and he looked ripped, he looked sharp,” he told iFL TV. “The only chink in his armour that I saw was his nervousness in his eyes at the press conference. A lot of nervous fighters are good fighters, it doesn’t mean he’s a bad fighter. It just means when he puts his head down on his pillow at night and asks ‘can I fight a 12-round slugfest? Or do I have to box? If I have to box, what happens if he gets past my jab? If it turns into a slugfest, can I live in that world?’” Since working with Haye, Chisora has improved on his physique and conditioning. The former heavyweight champion declared that ‘War’ Chisora will be bigger than before, yet still able to keep up the pace throughout the fight. “He’s 113-114 kilos of solid muscle, a lot more than he was last time,” Haye said. “Can Dillian maintain the war? Can he live through the war? I don’t think he can. I’ve never seen him do it before, he likes to take breaks, he likes to walk around behind the jab. I don’t think Dillian can do it, that’s why my prediction is Dereck Chisora late stoppage. If it goes to points it’ll be a very one-sided points decision.” Chisora and Whyte meet for the second time in the ring on Saturday 22nd December, two years after their first fight. The victor of this fight may next face Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium on April 13th with the 29-year-old putting his IBF, WBA an WBO titles on the line.

Eddie Hearn: “Usyk could face Takam, Winner or Loser of Whyte-Chisora”
