Darren Bent urged Jose Mourinho to sign Juventus ace and get rid of 'liability' Aurier

Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent has urged Jose Mourinho to sell Serge Aurier in a swap deal for Juventus player Alex Sandro. Bent has described Aurier as a "liability" at times for Spurs. The Ivory Coast ace has been Tottenham's first-choice right-back this season.  Tottenham reportedly want to sign the Brazilian, who has been at Juventus since signing from Porto in 2015. He helped Juventus to win four Serie A titles.  “You’re talking about someone [Aurier] who has been a little bit of a liability for them over the last couple of seasons and maybe not spending too much money to get Sandro and get another one in," Bent told Football Insider. “For me it makes a lot of sense, it’s good business, a good play from Tottenham if they can get that over the line. I’m all for it, I like Sandro, I think he’s very, very good and as we said, Aurier’s had his problems. This could be a fresh start for both of them so for me, I’d be all in on that, it’d be very, very good.” Sandro has made 188 appearances for Juventus and has won 23 caps for Brazil. Source: Express
