How Danny Welbeck's injury could change Arsenal's January transfer window plans

Director of Football Raul Sanllehi few weeks ago spoke about the prospect of doing some business and said there were a couple of factors that could change. “I don't believe much in the winter window," said Sanllehi. "There are exceptions, but if you have the right plan in the summer and the team are performing at the level you expect, you should not go to that window or try to avoid it. “It's there for emergencies, a big injury or if something is really not working and you need to recover there." And that last comments, about big injury, are now the main problem of Arsenal, as Danny Welbeck broke his ankle during the 0-0 draw with Sporting CP. Sven Mislintat has been preparing a list of targets for the summer, including Lille's Nicolas Pepe and Cristian Pavon at Boca Juniors, writes football.london. Now the only options leaft for Unai Emery are Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
