Danny Welbeck told he can leave Arsenal on a free

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is set to join Aaron Ramsey and leave the club on a free, according to the Times. Last month Raul Sanllehi admitted Arsenal may be forced into the January transfer marker after the injury to Welbeck, who suffered the ankle injury in the Europa League draw with Sporting Lisbon and is unlikely to return before the end of the season. The Gunners sources have told The Times, that Welbeck won’t be offered a new deal. Welbeck’s contract expires at the end of the current season. Arsenal have been linked with Nicolas Pepe and Patrik Shick as potential replacements for Welbeck.
