Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a return to Premier League after having failed to settle at the La Liga side.
Several clubs, such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, have shown an interest in signing the midfielder. He has also been linked with a return to Liverpool.
Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy thinks that Liverpool will never re-sign Philippe Coutinho because he 'wouldn't be welcomed back by the fans'.
Barcelona payed £142million for Coutinho, who has started in 36 games with having scored 8 times and assisted 5 overall this season.
"Coutinho would never be welcomed back at Liverpool. It hasn't worked out for him at Barcelona, but he made his bed by declaring how much he wanted to leave and now he has to sleep in it," said Murphy. (via

"I think even if Liverpool thought it was something they wanted, the fans would make it perfectly clear it wasn't acceptable and would force them to pull the plug.
"The fans didn't necessarily begrudge him his move to Barcelona, but he left himself no way to come back."
