Dani Alves ruled out. Gabriel Barbosa returns: Brazil potential squad for the Copa America

  Brazil are considered to be one of the best teams in the world and ahead of every tournament where they participate, whether it's a Copa America or a World Cup, they are usually considered to be favorites of winning the tournament or reaching the final. Brazil are preparing for the World Cup Qualifying games. They will face Ecuador and Paraguay this month. Following the qualifiers, Seleção will face Venezuela in the Copa America group stage game later in June. Ahead of the qualifying games, the Brazil squad was announced: Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Weverton (Palmeiras), Ederson (Manchester City) Defenders: Danilo (Juventus), Dani Alves (Sao Paolo), Renan Lodi (Atletico Madrid), Alex Sandro(Juventus), Lucas Verissimo (Benfica), Thiago Silva (Chelsea), Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Gernaim), Militao (Real Madrid) Midfielders: Casemiro (Real Madrid), Paqueta (Lyon), Fabinho (Liverpool), Fred (Manchester United), Douglas Luiz(Aston Villa), Ribeiro (Flamengo) Forwards: Richarlison (Everton), Firmino (Liverpool), Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), Neymar (PSG), Gabriel Barbosa (Flamengo), Everton Soares (Benfica), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) Alves was initially called up to the squad however he has now been ruled out due to a knee injury and Emerson Royal will now replace him.
