24-year-old midfielder has become one of the best players in Portuguese league. He scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists for Sporting last season.
Fernandes has been linked with almost every Premier League top - 6 side, including Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
His estimated value is £50 m according to Transfermarkt, but Portuguese side demands at least £70 m for the move.
Fernandes plays in the center. Being an attacking midfielder, he could become an option for Mauricio Pochettino, in case Christian Eriksen leaves the club, despite the fact that rumors on Denmark international have been cooled down recently.
