Dallas, "New Lionel Messi" & Cavani: How Leeds United could line-up next season

Leeds United have been promoted to the Premier League after 16 years away. Their place in the top flight for next season was confirmed by West Brom's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town. Following the promotion, many football stars have been linked with a move to the historic English side. The club owner Andrea Radrizzani even admitted that signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be ‘difficult’ but he is optimistic that they can sign Paris Saint Germain star Edinson Cavani. Transfermarkt looked into rumour mill and created a possible starting line-up for Marcelo Bielsa's side. Despite the expected summer overhaul and arriving, 7 Leeds stars are expected to keep their places in the starting XI: Kiko Casilla, Ben White, Stuart Dallas, Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich and Hélder Costa. Leeds are interested in Chilean international Mauricio Isla this summer. Isla, who is a versatile, hard-working player that has played for some top clubs around Europe, has recently left Fenerbahce. The newly-promoted side have been linked with a move for Argentine talent Thiago Almada. When Manchester City were linked with the player last year, Sky Sports dubbed him the ‘new Lionel Messi’. Brentford star Said Benrahma has also been on Leeds radar. The 24-year-old, who has 17 league goals this season, has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea this summer. And finally, the last player who will definitely make it to the starting line-up if he joins the club is Edinson Cavani, whose deal with Paris Saint-Germain has been expired.
