Crystal Palace set asking price for Chelsea target and will not negotiate lower fee

Crystal Palace will demand £80million for Chelsea target Wilfried Zaha, according to the Guardian. Chelsea, who have been handed a two-window transfer ban by FIFA, can sign players in January after having their ban reduced, following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. FIFA handed a ban to Chelsea in February of this year, after football’s world governing body found the club guilty of breaching two of its regulations on player transfers, specifically regarding bringing in U18 players and “third-party influence”. The Blues have been cleared to give Frank Lampard access to a  £150 million transfer budget to strengthen his squad in January. Chelsea would like to sign central defender, left-back, winger and striker. But considering the latest reports, Chelsea will spend the huge amount of that money in just one player- winger. Zaha of Crystal Palace has long been linked with the Blues, however, the club wants as much as £80m as transfer fee and will not accept a lower price. The 27-year-old has scored two goals and created one assist in 16 Premier League games for Palace. Source- HITC
