Cristiano Ronaldo will not face criminal charges over an alleged Las Vegas rape and the start’s mum Dolores Aveiro and sisters Katia and Elma have backed him.
On Tuesday Dolores took to social media to insist she always knew Cristiano had never done anything wrong.
She said: “Face of serenity of someone who knows her children.”
Meanwhile, Cristiano’s sister posted: “Divine justice takes its time but it never errs.”
Las Vegas police reopened the case last autumn after Ms Mayorga accused the Juventus star of raping her in 2009.
Five-times Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano, 34, always denied the allegations and responded to the new accusation by saying: “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.”
However, Clark County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday that Cristiano Ronaldo will avoid any kind of criminal charges concerning the Las Vegas rape case.
