Cristiano Ronaldo's comments on Manchester City amid shock transfer links

Cristiano Ronaldo has previously commented on Manchester City, which makes it seem the surprise transfer links won't lead to anything. City are currently in desperate chase of a striker and it is believed Ronaldo is leaving current side Juventus. Some rumours had suggested the superstar was headed back to former club Manchester United but it's now been widely reported that he could sign for their rivals. Ronaldo first spoke about City rumours all the way back in 2013 where he was far from keen to join the club.

He said: "To play for City not United? I’m not going to do that. Why? Because my heart’s in Manchester United, that’s why.   "I can say it would be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very difficult to play at Manchester City. Very difficult because of Manchester United."
