Cristiano Ronaldo hints when he will retire - and it could be next year

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, 34, has hinted he could be ready to retire at the end of this season. The Portuguese only signed a four-year deal with the current club last summer. Ronaldo, five-time Ballon D’or winner also suggested he could go until into his forties yet. As reported by Goal , when quizzed on retirement by TV1, Ronaldo said: "I don't think about that. Maybe I can leave my career next year … but I can also play up to 40 or 41. "I don't know. What I always say is to enjoy the moment. The gift is excellent and I have to continue to enjoy it."
