Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to find a new club for him. The Portuguese star looks set to leave Juventus at the end of the season. He has 15 months remaining on his current contract but is apparently ready to end his stay in Turin.

The two clubs Ronaldo is most strongly linked with joining are Real Madrid and Manchester United. Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford before joining Real Madrid, where he played for nine seasons.

Manchester United would likely be delighted to welcome Ronaldo home too. And if Ronaldo’s comments on United throughout the years are to be believed, then there is every chance the Portuguese may just sign on the dotted line with the Red Devils.

Speaking about his former club, Ronaldo said: “I love Manchester. Everyone knows that. Manchester is in my heart. The supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day.”
