Transfer guru Fabirizo Romano has given an update on Tottenham’s interest in Milan Skriniar, however, the Italian revealed that the London club are now looking at alternatives. It seems as though there’s no chance that Skriniar will be joining Tottenham this month.

“And for Tottenham, it is impossible to go for Skriniar at this moment, so other options could be the solution for Mourinho and for Tottenham in January,” Romano said.

“In January, Skriniar, I won’t say impossible, but I will say really really unlikely. Yes, just because Inter will ask for €60 million (£53.5m) and he’s a starter, so that’s why they are also looking at different options, but at the moment there is nothing advanced for Militao.”

It remains to be seen whether or not Tottenham can strike a deal to bring the Brazilian to north London, as Romano says there’s nothing advanced.
