"Conte's gutted": Alasdair Gold says Oliver Skipp has suffered injury setback

Tottenham have received an injury blow as the club star Oliver Skipp's recovery process seems to take much more time than expected. Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has given an update on the player's fitness, claiming that the 21-year-old has suffered an injury setback that could see him miss the upcoming Premier League match against Manchester City. “I don’t know when we’re going to get Skippy back from injury," Gold said in a video on his YouTube channel. “He had this groin injury a fair few days back. (Then), he had a little problem with an infection during his recovery. “Whether we’re going to see him against Manchester City (on Saturday), it looks a bit doubtful." Gold claims that Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is not happy after hearing the news regarding Skipp. “Conte’s gutted, he really is, he really sees him (Skipp) as an important player,” the journalist added.
