After the game Palmer said og his goal:
"I'm delighted, Prem [goal will] soon come. I've got to take it game by game, day by day. Hopefully I'll work my way up.
"There's always that bit of pressure coming up, being young and coming into a team, got to enjoy it and play your stuff.
"He's (Pep Guardiola) been in touch with Rodo and he's passed it on to us, delighted for him. Hopefully he enjoyed it [the goal], I've got to keep working hard, show what I can do day in day out.
"I've got to keep going, try and get more minutes, more goals, more assists and help the team out."
