Coach, who has worked with Xavi, Iniesta, Casillas, to become technical director of Football Federation of Armenia

Famous Spanish football coach Ginés Meléndez from January 1st will become Armenia Football Federation's new technical director. He will be in charge for the development of Armenia national teams in different ages as well as for the youth national team, women's national team and futsal. Melendez was born in March 22, 1950. He started his coaching career at the same club as he started his footballing career, at Albacete, and also with other Spanish teams. From 2011 to 2018 he was the technical director of Spanish Football Federation. The Spaniard has worked with players such as Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Iker Casillas, David Villa, Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata, Gerard Pique, Isco and others.
