Liverpool are preparing to face Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup final today, December 21 in Doha, Qatar.
Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp provided a team news update.
Virgil van Dijk, who didn't play in the semi-final game against Monterrey, has trained with the squad on Friday and could be available for the final game.
Georginio Wijnaldum also missed the semi-final, due to a muscle injury he sustained in 2-0 win over Watford.
During his press conference, Klopp said on the duo: “We will see.
“Virg was part of training today, Gini had a session today. We will see how it will look at the end.
“We use each hour for recovery and all that stuff. That’s what we did and we will see who we can line up," concluded Klopp.
