Tottenham have received a transfer boost as the club's reported target Ibrahim Sangare could leave Toulouse this summer, according to recruitment chief Jerome Fougeron in conversation with
FootMercato.
While Spurs have finished the 2019/20 season standing on the 6th place of the Premier League table seven points adrift of the top four, the French side faced a difficult season.
After winning just three of their 28 Ligue 1 fixtures during the campaign, the Violets were relegated to the second division that could cause Sangare leaving the club this summer.
“
We are building a team. A little at all posts. There are players who are still under contract but who risk leaving us, like Sangare – so we are working on their replacement,” Fougeron said.
Tottenham's target is valued at £18 million and could be another addition to Spurs' squad from Toulouse the likes of Etienne Capoue, Issa Diop, Moussa Sissoko and goalkeeper Alban Lafont.
