Chelsea youngster predicted to join Barcelona or Real Madrid
Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has been predicted to join Barcelona or Real Madrid by his former club Vitesse teammate Mitchell van Bergen.
The 20-year-old midfielder has impressed with his performance for the Blues this season and has made his debut for England in September.
Mount now returns to the Netherlands as a member of Frank Lampard’s squad to face Ajax on Wednesday in the frames of Champions League. His former Vitesse teammate Mitchell van Bergen and Thomas Bruns have talked to NOS and opened up about Chelsea star:
“I look at Chelsea matches more often because of him. He got his chance there and took hold of it. And he’s also knocking on the door of the English national team. That doesn’t surprise me,” Van Bergen said.
“Mason is going to reach the absolute top. In the Premier League, he will be a complete player and I see him eventually ending up at FC Barcelona or Real Madrid. I think he will fit there.”
