Chelsea thrown Moussa Dembele transfer boost by Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admits it will be difficult for the club to keep hold of their star players this summer. It could be a huge boost for Chelsea as the Blues have been linked with Moussa Dembele. The Blues reportedly set their sights on a move for Dembele in the January transfer window, however, Aulas subsequently issued a clear hands-off warning to Frank Lampard.  Yet the Lyon chief has opened the door for Chelsea to come back in for Dembele when the summer transfer window opens. He told French outlet Le Progres: “I am going to do everything to keep the players. But players who are programmed to play in Europe could want to go elsewhere because we don’t have European football.” Dembele scored 22 goals in 42 appearances for Lyon before the 2019/20 campaign was abandoned as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
