Chelsea prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Anfield.
The Blues will be without Nicolas Jackson for the game against the Reds as his return from England was delayed.
Speaking ahead of the game on Wednesday, Mauricio Pochettino said that the club was looking into getting the striker back on time following Senegal's early exit from AFCON 2023.
However, according to Daily Mail, Jackson's return has been delayed as Senegal's players were ordered to return to their homeland first and then they could return to their respective clubs.
They are understood to have been given clearance to make those journeys later today, however, Jackson wouldn't be able to return to Chelsea on time to face Liverpool.
