Chelsea starlet set for loan switch

Chelsea starlet Ethan Ampadu could be set for a season-long loan switch, club boss Frank Lampard has confirmed. The youngster is highly-rated at Stamford Bridge but Lampard wants him to get regular playing time. Ampadu has not travelled with the squad to Japan this week. Lampard’s side plays their first game in the country in four days against Kawasaki Frontale.  The Blues face the J.League champions Kawasaki Frontale on Friday and Barcelona in Saitama on Tuesday 23 July.
