Chelsea star heavily backed to make surprise Manchester United transfer

Manchester United are reportedly the front runners to make N'Golo Kante transfer move from Chelsea. Kante has been one of the Premier League's star performers in recent seasons, winning back-to-back titles with Leicester City and Chelsea in 2016 and 2017 respectively. During his time with the Blues, the tenacious ball-winner has made 170 appearances and also added FA Cup and Europa League winners' medals to his cabinet. However, aged 29 and after an injury-struck campaign, Kante has reportedly been placed on the transfer list by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard. According to Oddschecker, Manchester United are clear front runners in the race to sign Kante and are priced at 1/2 with one bookie to get the deal over the line - far shorter than PSG at 7/1. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the market to reinforce his Red Devils squad this summer and defensive midfield is one area which proved a headache last season.
