AC Milan have finalized the signing of Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and are now nearing a deal to secure Christian Pulisic as well.
According to ESPN, the USA international has reportedly come to terms on a long-term agreement to leave Stamford Bridge and join the Serie A outfit in the upcoming weeks.
However, the progress of the deal has hit a stumbling block as the two clubs have yet to agree on the transfer fee.
The 24-year-old, who has experienced reduced playing time at the London club due to injuries, has one year remaining on his contract and is willing to accept a significant wage reduction to facilitate the move.
Nevertheless, Chelsea and Milan have conflicting valuations, with the Premier League giants seeking around $27 million while Rossoneri aims to secure the attacker for approximately $19m.
Todd Boehly believes that the Italians' recent sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United should provide them with additional funds, but the club intend to utilize the money from the Pulisic deal to acquire other players.
