Chelsea set to quickly take action over Frank Lampard's priority transfer target

Chelsea are set to take quick action over their interest in Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell. The Blues are on the race for a left-back as Frank Lampard looking for alternatives to Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeiri. Lampard's side are splashing the cash ahead of the summer transfer window. Hakim Ziyech joined from Ajax for a £36.1m fee and he will be joined at Stamford Bridge by RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner. The club will turn their attention to solving their problem position by signing a new left-back. Chilwell could prove a difficult transfer to complete because Leicester are under no pressure to sell. The Foxes are likely to demand a fee in the region of the £80m sum forked out by Manchester United for Harry Maguire last summer. According to Express Sport, Chilwell has emerged as Lampard's priority target.
