Chelsea have reached an agreement with Rennes for Edouard Mendy, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
The report claims that the agreement will be concluded at around the €25m mark, while the attempts to include Chelsea players Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori in the deal have not succeeded.
It is also reported that the Senegal international has said goodbye to his teammates and will be on his way to the Premier League side.
According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, after announcing Mendy, Chelsea will consider a move for Declan Rice.

Edouard Mendy is soon departing for Chelsea, the Senegalese goalkeeper bid farewell to his Rennes teammates on Friday. An agreement for his departure has been reached today.
