Chelsea have provided update on Christopher Nkunku's injury and hinted on his return date.
The Blues' long-awaited member arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer, yet has been unfortunately injured and sidelined after the final pre-season game against Borussia Dortmund. The Blues' confirmed that the 25-year-old is "upping his recovery" as per Ben Jacobs.
The France international is back on the bike and is expected to be back at Stamford Bridge after the international break. As for his approximate return date, November 25 was neither confirmed nor denied to mark Nkunku's return in the Chelsea squad.
"Mauricio Pochettino has previously said he’s making fast progress and termed a return to the squad against Newcastle on November 25 as a “maybe,” informs the journalist.
The player posted a smiley picture on his Instagram account with the optimistic caption "Getting close".
