Chelsea players who could be sold to fund Frank Lampard’s transfer plans

Like the rest of the sporting world, Chelsea’s current season has been suspended due to the COVID-19.

Before the Premier League was suspended, Frank Lampard’s last game was against Everton, in which the Blues celebrated 4-0 win and with 48 points are 4th in the league table.

While Chelsea will have to wait until it will be safe to play again, the summer transfer window is also getting closer.

The Blues have been linked with Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho as well as Lille’s Gabriel Magalhaes.

There are several players who could be sold in the upcoming window, according to Football.London.

One of the players is Emerson Palmieri who has made 18 appearances during this season. According to the report, Lampard wants to sign a new left-back with Ben Chilwell heavily linked. Palmieri’s current Transfermarkt value is £27million.

Another player who could be sold this summer is Kurt Zouma, whose current Transfermarkt value is around £31.5million. Zouma has made 33 appearances so far during this season with having scored one goal and provided 3 assists.

Ross Barkley is also included in the list with the player being valued at around £24.3million on Transfermarkt. He has made 20 appearances during this season with having scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists.

Michy Batshuayi, another player from the list, has been valued at around £19.8million on Transfermarkt. During this season, Batshuayi has made 25 appearances with having scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists.

The total sum of the four players works out at £102.6million.

It is understood that Lyon’s Moussa Dembele and RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner are also on Chelsea’s radar as well as Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham.
