Chelsea to make last attempt to sign Arsenal star with fans hoping his deal will soon be done

Chelsea are preparing a late move for Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey before the transfer deadline. The Welsh midfielder is out of contract next summer and has yet to sign an extension, so his future at Arsenal remains on major doubt with Chelsea are monitoring his transfer. Arsenal would consider offers of just £30million for Ramsey. Though new boss Unai Emery hasn’t extended Ramsey’s contract, he still regards the player as one of Arsenal five captains. ‘Aaron is an important player for us, and the contract is one thing for the club and the player,’ explained Emery. ‘For me, I want him to stay with us, to work with us, to give the team the big performance.
