The 2021/22 season wasn’t the best one for Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel’s side faced an injury crisis, with Ben Chilwell, Reece James and other key players missing the club’s important matches.
Another issue became the sanctions on the club and its owner Roman Abramovich after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
The issues have now been solved and American businessman Todd Boehly will take over Chelsea. The club fans will be hoping to see their beloved team rising again next season.
The Blues could be without Andreas Christensen (confirmed), Marcos Alonso, and Cesar Azpilicueta, with the trio possibly leaving during the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be looking to bring new players to improve the squad. Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde is one of the names heavily linked with the move to Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel’s team will play their first Premier League match on August 6 away against Everton.
So, here is the possible squad for the 2022/2023 season.
