Chelsea hold transfer advantage over Manchester United as Frank Lampard rift resurfaces

Chelsea are eyeing the signing of Juventus star Alex Sandro. The Blues hold a key advantage over Manchester United. The Blues are searching for a new left-back this summer. Their transfer wishlist is believed to be Ben Chilwell, but Leicester are thought to want £80million for the England international. FC Porto star Alex Telles is cheaper with a £36m release clause, but Nicolas Tagliafico could be £22m. Chelsea are also monitoring Sandro as a potential alternative. According to Tuttosport claim manager, Frank Lampard could move for the 29-year-old this summer. Meanwhile, Tuttosport also hint at another key advantage for Chelsea as Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion with Emerson Palmieri. Lampard would not mind losing Emerson because he supposedly does not have a good relationship with the Italian. The Brazilian has spent five seasons in Turin and is under contract until 2023. He has made 31 appearances across all competitions. Source: Express
