Chelsea have been handed a major injury boost as Tammy Abraham's ankle injury was not that serious.
The 23-year-old was limped off during Newcastle game after 20 minutes following a tackle from Jamaal Lascelles.
And head coach Thomas Tuchel was not happy about it.
"There's no update yet on Tammy, but we needed to take him off after a hard tackle," said Tuchel to
Sky Sports.
"So, we are worried, but there's no news of him.
"He (Lascelles) played the ball, yes, but for me, it's too much of a risk to an injury to the opponent. And because of that for me, it's a foul.
"It's reckless, but okay it was not like us to criticise, just to discuss with the officials."
However, according to the
Telegraph, Abraham didn't suffer serious damage to his ankle and early signs suggest that he won't be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Blues' upcoming clash is on Saturday against Southampton.
