Chelsea and Frank Lampard handed fresh Ruben Loftus-Cheek injury boost

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek appears to have handed Frank Lampard some welcome injury news. Loftus-Cheek who picked up an Achilles injury during an end of season friendly ahead of the Europa League final against Arsenal appears to be making good progress in his rehabilitation. Taking to social media to provide an update on his recovery, the midfielder uploaded a 53-second video clip on Twitter of him doing some ball work inside the club's training facility.

It remains to be seen when Loftus-Cheek will be available for selection. "It’s going well!" he recently told Versus when asked about his recovery from injury.
