Chelsea fans are thanking Arsenal for signing Kai Havertz after his debut for the club in a friendly match against Nürnberg.
Football fans have been expressing their criticism of the German international on Twitter after a video highlighting his performance has went viral on the internet. Some of the tweets are:
“Watching this Havertz performance knowing he’s no longer a Chelsea player THANK YOU ARSENAL.”
“Notice how Havertz is always in the right spot in the box. So much for a failed comp.”
“He ain't even playing for my club anymore but these performances still p*** me off. that's how bad Havertz is.”
“Here he is 70 mill.”
On July 13, Mikel Arteta made the decision not to include Havertz in the starting lineup as Arsenal faced Bundesliga 2 team FC Nurnberg at the Max Morlock Stadion. The Gunners took a 1-0 lead into halftime courtesy of an impressive goal from Bukayo Saka.
In the second half, the German international was substituted on, replacing Reiss Nelson. However, during his 45-minute appearance, Havertz struggled to make an impact on the game. Ultimately, Arsenal ended up with a 1-1 draw, with FC Nurnberg equalizing through an own goal by Jorginho.
