Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia lowers £36m asking price for Jorginho

Chelsea are ready to lower their £36million asking price for Jorginho with Juventus closing in on a deal for the midfielder. The move could in turn help fund a bid for Kai Havertz. Frank Lampard has already changed his front line heading into next season having signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech. A new goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga and a left-back are also high on the club's list of transfer targets. Jorginho looks as though his time at Chelsea is coming to an end with Maurizio Sarri keen to link back up with the midfielder at Juventus. According to Calciomercato, Chelsea are willing to take a hit on the £50m they paid to sign the Italy international two years ago. The Italian was originally left out of Lampard's side after the season restarted in June. But he made his return following N'Golo Kante's injury. Chelsea no longer see Jorginho as part of their plans moving forward. And the report suggests Marina Granovskaia is willing to accept a bid lower than the £36m they have so far requested.
