Chelsea boss Frank Lampard provides Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech injury updates

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has provided an injury update on Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech ahead of Wolves clash on Tuesday. Pulisic and Ziyech have been missing due to injuries in recent times for the Blues. The US International was close to being part of the squad against Everton but sustained a worry on his hamstring. As well as Pulisic, Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi have had similar problems in the same area. When asked about Pulisic, Lampard said: "He was out for injury with his hamstring. "He trained on Saturday. He's in the squad for tomorrow but we are yet to decide if he will start or not. It is positive news from the weekend." When asked if Chelsea will adapt their tactics due to the lack of wingers, Lampard said: "Not in the short-term no. We are playing well. "Hakim has been pivotal and suddenly we're short on wingers. It's not the formation at the weekend - it was the way we executed. We have players to comfortably do that." Lampard added: "It felt like Everton played like Tottenham did and if people are watching us they will try to stop us from doing what we do well. "We need to find other ways and make sure to have ways around teams. At our top level we'd have found a way around it. "We can't make an excuse of not having wingers. "It's unfortunate but we have others capable of playing in those areas. Hopefully, they are back soon anyway." source - Express / Join us on Telegram
