Chelsea boss Frank Lampard gives update on N’Golo Kante injury

Chelsea were in action last night, but it was not an ideal result for Frank Lampard’s side as they suffered 2-0 defeat to Manchester United. Goals from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire sealed the win. Maguire was lucky to remain on the field when appearing to kick out at Michy Batshuayi but did not pick up a red card. But besides the result, Lampard has something else to worry about and it N’Golo Kante’s injury. Kante left the field early with a muscle problem. Lampard confirmed in his post-match press conference that it does not look good. "It’s an adductor injury. We will have to assess it, scan it. But it doesn’t look great,” said Lampard.
