Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has £20m alternative if Edinson Cavani transfer bid fails

Chelsea want to sign a striker during the January transfer window and they have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani. The Blues have been linked with Cavani and reportedly made a loan bid. However, Frank Lampard may turn his attention to £20m-rated CSKA Moscow striker Fyodor Chalov if they fail to sign Cavani this month. According to Express, Chalov will be available for around £20m. There are two-and-a-half years left on the Russian’s contract. Chalov, 21, has scored five goals and provided four assists in 19 apperances in the Russian top-flight this season.
