Chelsea believe Abraham and Hudson-Odoi could help BREAK club’s transfer RECORD
Chelsea are emerged as one of the clubs interested in signing Jadon Sancho. As reported by the Daily Mail, Blues are ready to spend £100 m and break club record to sign England international. Borussia Dortmund star has been reportedly a transfer target for two other Premier League Top - 6 sides, including Liverpool and Manchester United. Despite scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists in 11 Bundesliga matches, England national team winger could leave German side as he is unhappy with his life in Dortmund. Last month Sancho has been left out of the squad for Bundesliga match against Borussia Monchengladbach and has been substituted in the first half of the match against Bayern due to tactical reasons. Chelsea also believe Tammy Abraham’s and Callum Hudson-Odoi’s friendship with Sancho could be crucial while completing the deal. Chelsea are currently serving transfer ban, which will last until 2020. However, the club hopes that the appeal could be accepted and they would be able to enter the market during the January transfer window.
