Chelsea agree fee for winger-who had a trial with Manchester United in 2018

Chelsea have reportedly agreed to sign IFK Gothenburg’s winger Edwin Andersson. The 16-year-old has had a deal provisionally agreed with the Blues for several months, but the club has confirmed he will move with immediate effect. Confirming the move, academy manager, Jonas Olsson told Gothenburg's website: "We, of course, wish Edwin good luck. We would have liked to have seen him stay with us but that he is being recruited to Chelsea is a good mark on our business." The player had interest from Manchester United where he underwent a trial 18 months ago. Andersson turns 17 in November, is as an emerging talent. The youngster becomes Frank Lampard’s second signing, although the Chelsea boss is yet to add to his senior squad. Chelsea’s only other signing in January was Bryan Fiabema, who will also go straight into the Blues academy. Source- Daily Mail Join us on Telegram!
