Chelsea held a 1-1 draw in their first Premier League league game of the season at Stamford Bridge. Frank Lampard made one change from the team deployed in the Super Cup final in midweek. Mason Mount replaced Mateo Kovacic in the starting line-up. Mount proved, he deserved to be in the starting line-up, as he opened the score of the game, in the seventh minute of the match. 60 minutes later Wilfried Ndidi scored for Leicester and equalized the score.
