UEFA Champions League 2020/21 Group Stage draw took place on Thursday, October 1 at the RTS studios in Geneva. Four teams from Spain, England, Italy and Germany, three teams from France, Russia, two teams from Ukraine and teams from Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Denmark, Greece and Hungary participate in the tournament. The first matchday of the group stage will take place on October 20/21. The second one will be played on October 27/28. The last round of the group stage, meanwhile, will take place on December 8/9. During the trophy ceremony, Chelsea legend Didier Droga has received his UEFA President's Award for his contribution to football. He is the first non-European player to win the title. The best goalkeeper award of the UEFA Champions League 2020/21 won Bayern Munich goalie Manuel Neuer. Defender of the season, meanwhile, is Bayern Munich's, Joshua Kimmich. The midfielder of the season is Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne. Robert Lewandowski, of course, is the forward of the season.
