Now let us take a look who impressed and made it into Matchweek 9’s Dream team of the week by VBet Fantasy Football. Jan Oblak’s most impressive trait is being able to make saves after long periods of no involvement. Radamel Falcao had the best chance to rob Jan of a clean sheet, but even he could not beat the Slovenian, missing the net entirely from the spot. Shakhtar’s Ismaily opening the scoring and providing an assist in the thrilling 3-2 win over Hoffenheim, while Eder Militao was also on the scoresheet during Porto’s win over Schalke. Lukas Hejda from Viktoria Plzen also scored from centre-back this week.  Liverpool’s James Milner gave the reds a lifeline by converting his penalty and came out in the second term with a more disciplined mindest. Napoli’s Marek Hamsik registered a goal, assist and 92% pass accuaracy. While Bayern Munich’s Arjen Robben scored two goals against Benfica. Joshua Kimmich picked up a couple of assits. Schalke 04’s Nabil Bentaleb has scored the only goal for his side from the penalty spot in their 3-1 defeat to Porto. Maxvel Cornet from Lyon scored two superb goals, rocketing the first past Ederson from 20 yards and then running clear to slide home what looked to be the winner. His display saw him double his tally for the season and enhance his potential transfer value. Arguably the standout performance came from Shakhtar’s Taison, as he scored twice including a 91st minute winner, created his side’s other goal and hit the woodwork during the away win over Hoffenheim.
